Infra Corporation named the first Australian Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for Software Products
Infra and Microsoft show businesses how they can activate their customer support on upcoming roadshow
Sydney, April 12, 2001 - Microsoft Australia today recognised Infra Corporation's superior web-centric support application, by announcing Infra as the first Australian Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for Software Products.
The Gold certification will provide a way for customers to identify Infra as having proven commitment and expertise in delivering software solutions based on Microsoft Windows 2000 Server.
"Given the number of choices in software products in the market today, customers need to quickly learn who is committed to integration and testing to ensure their software provider has a policy of testing and integration", said Jane Huxley, Director of Enterprise Partner Group, Microsoft Australia.
"Microsoft Gold Certified Partners need to meet a higher set of criteria for each category than in other certification programs, including enhanced certification and a portfolio of real-world customer references," she added.
Based in Sydney, Infra is a supplier of support automation technology to corporations worldwide, offering businesses flexibility, global reach, reduced costs and ease of administration. Their local customers include the Australian Stock Exchange, Toyota and St. George Bank across Australia.
"Infra Corporation sees the Microsoft Gold Certified Partner status as dynamic for our business. Our clients and prospective clients are excited about the added value and guarantee that this certification provides, said Martin Curtis, Director Business Development, Infra Corporation".
"The Microsoft Gold certification means that clients can feel confident that Infra is robust, reliable and fit into their Microsoft Windows 2000 environment" he added.
As a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, Infra will receive additional benefits over and above other Microsoft Certified Partners. These benefits include elite brand identification, specialised training opportunities, increased product licenses, prioritised listing on referrals and business engagements, dedicated web-based communities, and annual events with relevant product teams.
Embarking on a roadshow in Sydney and Melbourne, Infra together with Microsoft will present Activate your customer support aiming to educate prospective and existing clients on how a full web-based solution can make a difference to the delivery of their customer support.
"Attendees will leave with an in-depth understanding of how full web applications work, their advantages and their significance for the delivery of customer support and business processes" said Curtis.
